#1: Take a girls' trip

As part of my quest to conquer my "25 under 25," I joined my two best friends and six other girls in taking a weekend trip to St. Louis last weekend to celebrate Mardi Gras. Needless to say, 9 girls + 1 hotel room + Mardi Gras = 1 crazy (and fabulous!) weekend.

We got all dressed up (masks included) and participated in the parade festivities on Saturday. If you're itching for some Mardi Gras action but not willing to head all the way down to New Orleans, I'd definitely recommend St. Louis - it was awesome! The parade and festivities completely took over the town, with the streets shut down and pop-up dance parties everywhere you looked.

We had a GREAT time and I was definitely glad I went on the trip. I was hesitant at first just because it required me taking off a day from work, but the memories we made are totally worth  it.
